The article is written by Kevork Hagopjian (published in Aleppo Armenian's
weekly "Kantsasar" issue 14/11/2005) and describes the linguistic difficulty
that a group of young Armenians had when they were offered to write few
lines in their native language in the "Memory" notebook of their emigrating
friend.
Hagopjian underlines with sorrow that the educational system is not
efficient enough to teach the school children in a proper way on how to
express their thoughts in Armenian.
This is a very problematic aspect of the function of the whole Diaspora
educational system.
He calls all of us to cooperate in solving this important issue.
